Peking University - Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy (PLC for short) is a non-profit research institute, which was founded jointly by Peking University and Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and aims at developing research capacities in land, urban development and other related fields mainly by academic research and training. PLC keeps carrying out research fellowship, dissertation fellowship and "Training the Trainers" programs in 2013 and welcome all the teachers and students who are interested in them.
2013 - 2014 Research Fellowship
In order to enhance the researches into urban economics, land use and policy, urban development and regional planning, public finance and property tax, urban transportation, housing policy, environmental policy and sustainable development, PLC launches the 8th research fellowship program. Any in-service researchers and scholars in the fields above are eligible for application. The funding is 50000 to 70000 RMB and the duration is one year.
2013 - 2014 Dissertation Fellowship
To develop talents, PLC carries out the 9th dissertation fellowship program as well. All the applicants must be a second-grade or above master or PhD graduates and their dissertation proposals have been officially approved when doing application (supervisor's signature required for confirmation ). All the applicants' research fields should be in urban economics, land use and policy, urban development and regional planning, public finance and property tax, urban transportation, housing policy, environmental policy and sustainable development. The funding is 20000 to 35000 RMB and the duration is one year.
